Extreme adventure sports are often lonely hobbies, but imagine being alone in a row boat, with no land in sight for more than two months.

Forty-six-year old Michelle Lee has conquered one of the world’s toughest nautical challenges, rowing 4,700 kilometres across the Atlantic ocean, from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.

In the process, she’s become the first Australian woman to cross any ocean solo in a rowboat, completing the Atlantic Challenge.
